One of the areas this presentation focused on is RF synthesizers; they are used in a wide variety of applications and are important in a variety of radio units. ST has a full range of RF synthesizers for creating devices from the ones aimed at base stations, which range from 625 MHz to 5 GHz bands up to the future STuW81300 device, to be introduced mid-year 2015, which covers up to 16 GHz. Developments such as this are an area to which ST is devoting a lot of manpower, resources, and technology.
