MOSFETs can be employed in many different applications. The kingdom of the MOSFET is the power supply domain, starting from very small battery chargers up to large mainframe power supplies capable of thousands of watts. MOSFETs are used in motor control applications; power tools, for example typically use MOSFETs. Or, e-bikes for example, and more recently, electric vehicles. Other common applications include motherboards or LED lighting.
