The major difference between the RR and RG series is the passivation material. The RR series has organic compounds such as epoxy resin for the passivation material, wherein the RG series uses an inorganic passivation material during the vacuum deposition process. Another major difference is that with the RG series, the laser trimming is done after the passivation film is deposited which makes this a very clean process.
