The Mil-C-5015 style connectors are a lighter weight and lower cost alternative to metal shell connectors in an existing system. This style of CPC is designed specifically to be used only with the metal-shell Mil-C-5015 connector systems. The Mil-C-5015 style CPC connector utilizes a special Multimate Type III + Mil-C-5015 style contact that can only be used in this specific housing due to the increased contact length. Mil-C-5015 style CPC connectors come in only two shell sizes.
