High performance modular jacks were designed to reduce the undesired crosstalk that results from electromagnetic interference within an application. Specifically the high performance modular jacks reduce the near end cross talk that can be transmitted. These connectors eliminate the need for customized PC boards that have been used to achieve high performance results. Different housing materials are available depending on whether the customer will use a wave solder or reflow application.
