There are a few definitions in the main IPC drivers which can be customized depending on the user application’s needs. For instance, an application may wish to decrease the default message RAM used to store the circular buffers and indexes. In that case, the IPC_BUFFER_SIZE can be decreased or the NUM_IPC_INTERRUPTS definition can be decreased. In other cases an application may want to increase the IPC_BUFFER_SIZE to allow it to store more messages before the receiving processor has to respond.
