The changes from StellarisWare to TivaWare were mainly implemented to provide a unified and consistent user experience across Tiva products, which are based on the ARM Cortex core. Doing so will make it easier for the customer to port projects from one Tiva product family to another going forward. Included are a number of new drivers, APIs, and enhancements to some known architectural deficiencies that existed in StellarisWare.
