From these requirements, the size of the storage element and energy harvester can be determined. Many customers are faced with the size of the harvester being a fixed requirement, a remote control being one example. The area for the harvester is fixed. In most cases, this results in increased demands on the power management efficiency, as well as compromises on the application and usage, in order to reduce the power requirements.
