The center biasing calibration circuit is activated by momentarily grounding pin 4. It then begins ramping current through the sensor LED from 0 mA up to 14 mA until the voltage drop across the load resistor equals 1/2 Vcc. When this point is reached, the LED current is held by the micro controller and a green calibration light blinks 3 times to indicate a successful biasing.
