Shown here are the newest slimSMA components in 2 and 3 A, 200 V options. It is in the standard SMA package foot print. It should be noted that typically the market has offered 1 A ultrafast diodes in SMA packages, 2 A in SMB and 3 A in SMC. Thanks to Vishay’s package re-design and improved thermal aspects customers can now have 2 A and 3 A in SMA package that is offered in slim option that is less than 1 mm. Vishay has plans to release a 2 and 3 A, 600 V version in the slimSMA package.
