3M offers several different product formats depending on application needs. This presentation will focus on two product formats, double coated tape and adhesive transfer tape. A double coated tape is typically thicker (3-10 mils) and is less conformable since it will have a carrier for each adhesive layer. Commonly used carriers are polyester, tissue, paper and polyolefin films.
