Static-eliminating topical liquids and static-dissipative coatings play a major role in ESD-control programs.  In choosing the appropriate product, it is important to consider the following: the type of material or substrate to which the product will be applied; whether to eliminate static completely, or rather control or dissipate it; and if this is to be a permanent or temporary solution.
