This slide presents a case for equipment monitoring in factories. After many years of operation, there may be PLCs from different manufacturers in the factory. To collect and integrate the PLC information, the ECU-1051TL reads the PLC I/O registers with the drivers and converts it into the OPC UA protocol so that it can link to the factory's ERP MES system. By adding the Wi-Fi accessories, data is transmitted wirelessly to avoid complicated wiring effort and cost.
