For wastewater process monitoring, many sensors such as temperature, flow rate, and PH sensors are used to monitor the water quality. The ESRP-PCS-ADAM6717 measures the sensor signals through its onboard I/O and collects data from pumps and meters via Modbus. The data is then converted and pushed to the cloud. The IEC-61131-3 Softlogic is also supported by the ADAM module, so users can use the PLC programming languages such as ladder and function blocks to manage logic control.
