The clip-on pipe sensor is a sensing element on a ceramic and metal shoe assembly which is held in a polymer housing. The housing is fitted with a metal spring clip for pipe attachment. Response time is less than or equal to 1.0s with a dissipation factor of greater than or equal to 2mW/K. These sensors are available in a range of sizes to cover pipe diameters from from 13 to 20mm or 0.51 to 1.18 inches.
