The Analog Devices ADL5902, which was looked at a few slides back, is an example of an RMS-responding detector. It shows excellent immunity to the changing crest factors of QAM signals, has a measurement range of 60dB, temperature stability of plus and minus 0.5dB, and can be operated at frequencies up to 9GHz.
