Shown here is a very good illustration of how the performance of the XP-G2 results in lower LED count and lower system cost. 4 XP-G2s deliver the same system performance as 7 LEDs of Competitor#1, 10 LEDs of Competitor #2, 6 LEDs of Competitor #3, and 6 LEDs of Competitor #4. Fewer XP-G2 LEDs required means fewer optics, a potentially smaller printed circuit board and less handling, all of which translates to lower system cost.
