As a solution in the DC Link film capacitors EPCOS offers the B3277 series which has recently been expanded to the “Brick” type. The capacitance value can go up to 480 µF and the voltage rating as high as 1300 VDC. Additionally, a lower profile version of the standard DC link capacitor is available for applications that have height restrictions. This product was designed with vibration in mind and comes in a multiple-pin configuration to withstand high vibration applications.
