When data and power are required for a device, the M12 Y-Code can provide both in a single compact hybrid M12 connection. This is an 8-pin connection with four of the pins allocated for 100 Mb/s data and 4-pins allocators for power up to 6 A. This is a fully shielded solution to protect the data signal integrity from the power but also from external interference.
