The M8 A-Code connector variant is the most common M8 interface type. This is commonly used for sensor actuator applications or for power supply connections. The IEC 61076-2-104 defines mating interfaces ranging from 3 to 8 pins. Within the HARTING portfolio, there are field installable plugs, panel feed through components and overmolded cord sets. These connectors can be shielded or unshielded based on application requirements.
