For loads up to 1A, the ISL80510 is a high performance, low dropout and low cost LDO that balances the need between performance and cost. It offers the best trade-off between dropout, stability and PSRR. The ISL80505 has all the same features of the ISL80510 but is intended for smaller loads up to 0.5A and has slightly better input voltage range, dropout and PSRR at those load levels.
