This slide offers more detail on the flat wire MPC series. As previously noted, the flat wire offers higher current; 17A to 30A of ripple current. The MPCG and MPCH series use different core material. The MPCH offers higher permeability and higher current capability where as the MPCG has a lower current and low loss core.
