The LTC4278 is a PD controller with an integrated no-opto flyback controller, similar to the LTC4269-1. The main difference is that the Auxiliary Power Supply Input supports input voltages down to 10V to support auxiliary operation from 12V wall adaptors. It is an IEEE 802.3at compliant PD controller that supports 2-event classification and is similar to the LTC4269-1 in every other respect, offering benefits of efficiency, simplicity and a small overall solution size.
