The PIC32 family has well over 100 products built around the MIPS M4K core running at 80MHz. The five deep pipeline achieves a throughput of 1.56 DMIPS/MHz. The PIC32 offers up to 512KB Flash memory in addition to 32KB RAM. DMA control is provided for all peripherals and multiple channels of ADCs, UARTs, SPI, I²C, and USB OTG are available. Finally, the onboard 16-bit Parallel Master Port (PMP) allows for easy communications to 16-bit peripheral devices such as QVGA graphics panels.
