The CLC functions as a “mini PLD” onboard a PIC microcontroller. Programmed using special function registers, the CLC contains an array of AND, OR, and XOR gates, latches, and flip-flops. The CLC may be configured as these various gates, flip-flops and latches. Various inputs can be routed to this module.
