This is an example of an e-field sensor using the RS08KA2 to monitor the electrodes through the I/O pins. A tap or slide on an appropriate touch pad will send a signal through the e-field sensor and is read by the RS08KA2’s comparator. The ADC value is calculated using the MTIM and a table. At this point, the right response would be keyed in a touch panel screen or in a flow detection system an appropriate signal can be sent.
