Here is an operator interface example based on MCF5227x. The highly integrated devices combine both on-chip color LCD and touch-screen controllers to enable touch-based user interfaces. The operator interface can monitor, control, and display on one interface. The system bus controller can be used to communicate with external systems and memory. The integrated peripherals such as USB, LCD, and CAN help reduce system cost greatly and ease the development process.
