The LV8731V is a stepper motor driver that has found applications in textile and slot machines. It can also behave as a two channel H-Bridge driver. That way a board set up as a stepper driver it can be repurposed to drive two brush motors as well. This device will operate from 9 to 32 volts and provide up to 2 A of output current. Micro-stepping is available for accurate positioning and the motor current can be selected in four steps. An evaluation board is also available for this part.
