The total capacitance for C1 and C2 should be 3 µF/watt for universal input designs or 1 µF/watt for high-line only applications. The RF1 component should either be a fuse or a flame-proof fusible 10 Ω resistor rated for 1 W to 2 W. A standard 1N4005 diode can be used for the input stage and L1 can range from 680 µH to 2200 µH.
