The values of DCON and FSMAX should allow a KP factor of > 1.3 assuring DCM operation for the converter. The DCON parameter controls the reflected voltage (VOR) and the number of turns on the secondary side (NS). To achieve the optimal current in the primary winding, the transformer core is selected and the number of primary layers is iterated. The number of primary layers should be minimized to reduce the parasitic transformer capacitance for improved efficiency.
