Around the world, mobile carriers are responding to the demand for cellular networks for IoT devices. This map shows the CAT-M1 and NB-IoT networks that have been deployed throughout the world. Some carriers have chosen to deploy CAT-M1 or NB-IoT first depending on the needs of their region. In general, some CAT-M1 and NB-IoT deployments only require a software upgrade for the cellular towers, which has allowed for rapid deployment for these IoT cellular networks.
