The BD9V100MUF-CE2 primary switching regulator uses ROHM’s nano pulse control to achieve up to a 24:1 step-down ratio at 2MHz. It becomes possible to use a 48V battery input and generate a 2.5V output directly. The BD9V100MUF-CE2 also includes multiple protection features such as: overcurrent protection (OCP), short-circuit protection (SCP), thermal shutdown (TSD), undervoltage lock-out (UVLO), overvoltage protection (OVP), and overvoltage lock-out (OVLO).
