As the graphic here shows, ROHM has two different solutions to support different design requirements for the automotive lighting unit: switching type LED driver products support higher current design systems, and linear type LED driver products cover relatively lower current but give multi-channel outputs. The BD18347 and BD18337 are 4-channel output linear type LED drivers suitable for tail lamp systems which typically require a large number of LEDs in the unit.
