Impedance of an MLCC is much lower than the Al cap. The lower impedance allows replacing the Al with a much lower MLCC cap value but giving the same circuit performance. Depending on the circuit function and the frequency, the MLCC can be 10-100% of the original capacitance value. Therefore, DC bias of the MLCC should also be considered.
