To allow the Wi-Fi Connected product to interact with the active access point in a given environment, the module can boot into “miniAP” mode to provide for an HTML webpage that allows the user to remotely set the SSID, security mode and password for the environment. Once completed, the module reboots into “station” mode where it then has the necessary information to join the network. This can be very advantageous for products without any user input capabilities or displays.
