Supervisor functions including reset circuitry, brown out warning and dual watchdogs are integrated. Multiple clock sources are available including both high speed and low speed internal RCs and external oscillators. In many applications there is no need for an external oscillator. Analog functions include up to three 12-bit ADCs and a 12-bit 2-channel DAC.
