The HFE1600 has active power factor correction compliant to EN61000-3-2, and has less than 1mA earth leakage current. A 12V, 0.5A auxiliary supply can be used to drive signaling and programming features. For longer field life, cooling is provided by two variable speed internal temperature controlled fans. In addition to having many indicating signals and controls, the HFE is available with an optional PMBus interface, based on I²C.
