The activity indicators provided with the digital channels enables users to quickly see the state (high, low, or transitioning) of all digital lines at the same time. This facilitates identification of lines that may have been accidentally connected incorrectly with respect to power supply or ground. The activity indicators are active even when the oscilloscope is not triggering.
