Another feature of the ISOW7841 is the soft start. The competitor’s device startup waveform for the secondary power supply, Viso, is shown in the top portion of the chart. A similar curve, for the ISOW7841, is shown at the bottom of the chart. It can be seen that the start up waveform for the ISOW7841 is smooth and without any overshoots, thereby controlling the inrush current and preventing the load circuit from any damage.
