There are two modes that this device supports. The first and default mode is the proximity sensor mode, wherein the device can be woken up by waving a hand about an inch away from the device. To indicate this, the LEDs will circle around the dial. The second is the touch mode where the LEDs will light up next to where it senses the touch.
