Fine nickel powder can improve the smoothness and continuity of the inner electrode. It is important to obtain the high capacitance and good reliability. This also drives the material approaches for high capacitance, e.g. a high dielectric constant material, fine ceramic powder, and modification of additive composition for the improvement of high-cap MLCC characteristics.
