Another time-proven “threadlocking” option that meets industry and military standards is the “pellet”. In this design, a pellet of locking material is inserted into a hole drilled into the fastener. No adhesive or tape is required to provide a high vibration resistant assembly. Plus, depending on the material chosen, the strip can be re-used up to fifteen times. As mentioned previously, other materials are available for higher and lower temperature use.
