The L6390 is the superset of the SmartDRIVE family. The L6391 integrates the comparator and the smart shut down, L6392 the operational amplifier, the L6393 adds the comparator plus a brake logic to very easily control a DC motor, and the L6393 is a simple half-bridge driver.
