So what goes into the L99ASC03? Integrated into one chip, there is a Low Dropout Regulator, three half-bridge drivers for the six MOSFETs that drive the motor, a programmable current sense amplifier, built in advanced back-EMF detection with diagnostics, control logic for Diagnostics and Protection, and SPI communication interface with the host microcontroller.
