The grommet and the strain relief have been integrated into one piece. The connector comes assembled with the contact separate. It is a simple procedure to strip then crimp the wire and then snap the contact into the housing. The assembly is completed by turning the nut tight.  This is much simpler than a traditional MC connector termination.
