This slide shows an overview of the WiLink software running on the host CPU and the WiLink 8 device itself. The host runs the WPA supplicant for security, host APD for SoftAP, TCP/IP Stack, WiLink 8 and SDIO drivers, and the Bluetooth and Bluetooth low energy stacks. The host interface for WLAN is SDIO and for Bluetooth is UART. The WiLink device runs WLAN firmware and Bluetooth software.
