The SiP12107 and SiP12108 are footprint compatible buck regulators and offer a compact solution size. The footprint compatibility of the 3 A and 5 A devices allows for a simple upgrade path when current requirements increase. The control loop supports the use of any capacitor including MLCCs which may have virtually no ESR when a large number are used in parallel.
