L6563S/L6563H/L6564D PFC Controllers

STMicroelectronics' L6563S, L6563H, and L6564D are current mode Power Faction Correction (PFC) controllers that operate in transition mode. These devices offer improved performance and additional features compared to the well-known L6562A. This family of PFC controllers has low THD, improved loop stability and better transient response. The L6563S and L6563H provide options for tracking functions and an interface with the PWM controller of the DC/DC stage. Increased functionality allows greater ease for compliance to energy saving norms like Blue Angel, Energy Star, and Climate Savers.
