Two different peripherals are responsible for power management and the power supply on the SAM3U, the Supply Controller and the Power Management Controller. The combination of these two peripherals provides a wide range of low-power modes that allow selection of the best trade-off between: power consumption, wake-up time, clock frequency, and wake-up sources.
