Shown on this slide is the x-ray of ST’s MP34DT01 microphone that was shown on a previous slide. It is possible to clearly see the metal shielding that exists inside the microphone. The IC and the sensor itself are completely shielded from the external world by an internal Faraday cage, which provides good EMI performance.
